As you may be aware, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) became law in August 2008 and is applicable to certain Sport-Tek products manufactured after Nov. 12, 2008.
Sport-Tek takes great care to ensure that the materials used to manufacture its products are safe and meet our high standards and specifications, which meet and exceed those of CPSIA.
In addition, effective with product manufactured on or after Nov. 12, 2008, all affected Sport-Tek products ship from factories accompanied by documentation of conformity to the requirements of CPSIA.
We start by reducing the products impact by switching to at least 50% preferred materials. We then neutralize the total carbon footprint of each product in the C-FREE programfrom the products initial raw materials to its end-of-lifethrough Carbonfree® certification.
